We started AUBOSmail because every other surface — search, social, commerce, payments — has been rebuilt from first principles in the last decade. Email hasn't. The protocol survived; the product got abandoned.
Make email the most trusted, most expressive surface on the internet.
Two things we believe simultaneously: email should look like a website, AND every email you send should be cryptographically provable.
The first half is craft — typography, theme tokens, drag-drop composers, scroll-tracked blocks. The second half is infrastructure — our own MTA, DNS automation, JCS canonical JSON, WORM storage, daily Merkle roots anchored to Bitcoin.
Both halves matter. Pretty email without proof is performance art. Proof without beauty is compliance theater. We're building the first product that does both.
How we operate.
We ship fast but we ship beautiful. Every block has been agonized over. Every error message has been written by a human.
Trust comes from math, not marketing. If we say something is verifiable, anyone in the world can verify it without trusting us.
Our own MTA. Our own DNS automation. Our own auth. We don't resell SendGrid or Mailchimp. Your sender reputation is yours.
GDPR, CASL, CAN-SPAM gates fire at send time, not at audit time. Better to block one bad send than apologize for a thousand.

When you reply to a marketing email of ours, a real person reads it. We don't hide behind chatbots or 12-step ticket flows.
How we got here.
Late 2025. Started building tracking infrastructure for AUBOS — pixel attribution, click-rewriting, GDPR-compliant audit log. The plumbing worked, but we kept staring at the actual emails going out and thinking they looked like 2014.
February 2026. First version of the canonical Block document model. JCS canonicalization, content-hashing, WORM storage. Realized we could make verifiability the default, not the exception.
March 2026. Bought a Kamatera VPS in US-TX. Installed Postal MTA. Auto-DNS via Cloudflare. First DKIM-signed send accepted by Gmail.
April 2026. Web reader, public proof page, dashboard, two account types (personal + business), 9 award-grade templates, daily Merkle anchor with Bitcoin OpenTimestamps. First pilot users on aubosmail.com.
What started as plumbing became the product. We're building in the open and shipping every week.
